**Selection Process:**
The selection process involves three stages: a Preliminary examination, a Main written examination, and a Personality Test or Viva-voce. The Preliminary exam consists of two papers, General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude Test, both of which are objective-type and carry a total of 200 marks. Each paper is designed for a two-hour duration, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The Civil Services Aptitude Test serves as a qualifying paper, requiring a minimum of 33% marks to pass.
**Application Fee:**
The application fee varies based on the candidate’s category:
* **₹250:** For candidates belonging to DSC, OSC, BC-A (Non-Creamy Layer), BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer), ESM, EWS, Haryana women candidates, and DESM candidates of Haryana in their respective vertical categories.
* **₹1000:** For DESM candidates of Haryana belonging to the UR Category and all other remaining candidates.
