Maruti Suzuki, India’s undisputed leader in car manufacturing, reported impressive domestic passenger vehicle sales of 176,318 units. This represents a solid 10.48% increase compared to the 159,591 units sold in October 2024. Additionally, the company supplied 8,915 units to Toyota Kirloskar Motor as part of their OEM collaboration and exported a substantial 31,304 units during the month, showcasing its broad market reach.
Mahindra & Mahindra celebrated its highest-ever monthly SUV sales, delivering a remarkable 71,624 units to the domestic market in October 2025. This translates to an impressive 31% year-on-year growth, largely driven by the sustained popularity of its robust models like the Scorpio, XUV700, and Thar, maintaining Mahindra’s strong position in the competitive SUV segment.
For the second consecutive month, Tata Motors achieved its highest-ever monthly wholesale figures. Sales soared by 26.6% to 61,295 units in October 2025, a significant jump from 48,423 units recorded in the previous year. Rounding out the strong performances, Nissan Motor India registered consolidated sales of 9,675 units, showing a substantial 45% month-on-month growth.
