The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has officially released the admit cards for the Village Development Officer (VDO) recruitment examination 2025. All registered candidates can now access and download their admit cards directly through their SSO ID on the official website.

As per the board’s official schedule, the VDO examination is slated for November 2, 2025, and will be conducted in a single shift from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Candidates were previously informed of their respective exam city details. This significant recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 850 VDO posts, with 683 positions designated for non-scheduled areas and 167 for scheduled areas.
Examination Details and Competition Overview
A staggering approximately 5.50 lakh candidates have applied for these positions, indicating a highly competitive selection process with roughly 648 applicants vying for each available post. The examination paper will consist of 160 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). These questions will cover a broad spectrum of subjects, including language proficiency, mathematics, general knowledge, geography, agriculture, the rich history and culture of Rajasthan, and fundamental computer knowledge. The total marks for the paper are 200, and candidates will be allotted 3 hours and 10 minutes to complete the examination.
A unique aspect of the examination is the provision of five answer options for each question. Candidates who choose not to answer any of the first four options are required to darken the fifth circle. Failing to mark any option will result in a deduction of three parts of the marks allocated for that specific question.
Essential Entry Rules and Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates are strongly advised to report to their examination centers at least two hours in advance, as entry will be strictly prohibited after 10 a.m. To maintain fairness and prevent malpractice, watches of any kind are strictly forbidden inside the examination hall. Only a transparent blue ball pen is permitted for use. A comprehensive list of banned items includes pens (other than the permitted one), water bottles, purses, bags, calculators, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, and any form of weapons.

Question Paper and Answer Key Information
Upon completion of the examination, candidates will be allowed to retain a carbon copy of their OMR answer sheet, but the original question paper must be submitted to the invigilator. The RSSB is committed to transparency and will release both the question paper and the official answer key within 72 hours following the examination. Should candidates have any discrepancies or objections regarding the answer key, they may raise formal objections by paying a fee of Rs. 100 per question.
