AISSEE 2026: Exam Schedule and Format Explained
The AISSEE 2026 examination will be conducted entirely offline, utilizing a traditional pen-and-paper format with OMR sheets. All questions will be in a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format.
- Class 6 Entrance Test: This exam will be 150 minutes long and available in 13 different languages.
- Class 9 Entrance Test: Candidates for Class 9 will have 180 minutes to complete their exam, which will be offered exclusively in English.
Mark your calendars: the AISSEE 2026 examination is slated for January 2026. Official admit card download dates will be announced soon on the dedicated portal. Expect results to be declared approximately four to six weeks after the examination concludes.
AISSEE 2026: Application Fees
The examination fee must be paid online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The fee structure is as follows:
- General, Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Defence, and Ex-servicemen: ₹850
- Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST): ₹700
