Originally slated for January 29, 2027, Paramount has moved up the release of The Angry Birds Movie 3 by over a month. Fans can now look forward to the animated adventure arriving just before Christmas on December 23, 2026.
Exciting new additions to the voice cast include YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, famously known as MrBeast, and the talented Webby Award winner Salish Matter. While their specific roles are still under wraps, their involvement is generating significant buzz.
Beloved characters are making a comeback with their original voices: Jason Sudeikis returns as Red, Josh Gad as Chuck, Rachel Bloom as Silver, Anthony Padilla as Hal, Ian Hecox as Bubbles, and Danny McBride as Bomb. The ensemble also grows with new talent like Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Marcello Hernandez, Walker Scobell, and Sam Richardson.
John Rice is at the helm as director for The Angry Birds Movie 3. His impressive directorial background includes popular animated series and films such as Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, Rick and Morty, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons Ride, and The Happy Elf. The film is a collaborative production between Rovio and Sega.
