Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially opened the registration portal for the VITEEE 2026 examination. Interested candidates aiming for admission to the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination can secure their application by visiting the official VITEEE website at viteee.vit.ac.in.
The deadline for submitting applications is March 31, 2026. The VITEEE exam is scheduled to take place from April 28 to May 3, 2026, with each session lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exam will consist of 125 multiple-choice questions, covering Mathematics/Biology (40 questions), Physics (35 questions), Chemistry (35 questions), Aptitude (10 questions), and English (5 questions). Each correct answer will fetch four marks, while incorrect answers will incur a penalty of one mark. There are no deductions for unanswered questions. The question paper will be exclusively in English.
Eligibility criteria stipulate that candidates must have been born on or after July 1, 2004, to be considered for VITEEE-2026. The date of birth recorded in the High School Certificate will be treated as final.
