Are you struggling with the Silent Hill 2 jukebox puzzle? James Sunderland’s terrifying return to Silent Hill in its stunning remake brings a familiar atmosphere but also introduces fresh challenges. Bloober Team’s reimagining isn’t just a visual overhaul; it also features brand-new puzzles, and the jukebox in Neely’s Bar is one of the first and most perplexing. Like classic adventure games, Silent Hill 2’s puzzles often require specific items to progress, and this new jukebox riddle is no exception. While veterans might recall the original game’s coin or hanged man puzzles, this one is entirely new. If you find yourself stumped, don’t worry – we’re here to guide you through every step.
How to Repair the Silent Hill 2 Jukebox
To successfully repair the broken jukebox in Neely’s Bar and advance, you will need to gather four crucial items:
- A broken vinyl record
- Special vinyl glue

Broken Vinyl Record and Vinyl Glue Locations
To find the missing half of the broken vinyl record, make your way to Groovy Music, located at the northern end of Neely Street. Once inside the record store, prepare to face two Lying Figures. After eliminating them, break the windows to gain access to the adjacent room. You’ll find both the broken vinyl record and the essential vinyl glue conveniently placed on a table in the center of this room.

Where to Find the Jukebox Button
The crucial jukebox button is located within the Saul Street apartments, specifically at the intersection of Neely Street and Saul Street. Upon entering the building, you’ll need to move an obstruction blocking a doorway to the left of a map displayed on the wall. This will grant you access to an office where you can retrieve an apartment key from a key box.
Next, ascend to apartment five and use the key to unlock its door. Navigate through a gap in the wall that leads to apartment four, and then continue through another opening to reach the outdoor fire escape. Climb the fire escape and enter through an open window. Once inside, proceed directly to the bathroom and interact with a hole in the wall to finally obtain the jukebox button.

Obtaining the Neely’s Bar Coin
Your final item awaits at the Texan Cafe, situated on the far eastern side of Katz Street. Go behind the bar and interact with the cash register. Turn the key and press the bottom-right button to open the tray and claim the Neely’s Bar coin. Be warned: a Lying Figure will immediately appear upon taking the coin, so stay vigilant.
Bringing the Jukebox Back to Life
With all items in hand, return to Neely’s Bar. First, combine the two halves of the broken vinyl record using the vinyl glue. Approach the jukebox and interact with its right arm to lower the lever that currently blocks its path. Interact with it twice more to bring the arm forward and carefully insert your newly repaired vinyl record. Next, attach the jukebox button and slide the Neely’s Bar coin into the coin slot. To start the music, press the blue “C” switch, followed by the red “2” button. After a brief cutscene, use the Neely’s Bar Key on the door to the left of the save point to proceed on your haunting journey through Silent Hill.
