It began serialization on Shousetsuka ni Narou in May 2020 and has since been published by Overlap Novels, with eight volumes currently available in Japan. A vibrant manga adaptation, illustrated by Maro Aoiro, has also been running on Overlap’s Comic Gardo since August 2021, with seven volumes released to date.
For those eager to dive into the story, Seven Seas Entertainment provides an intriguing synopsis: Van, the fourth son of a marquis, discovers at a young age that he has been reincarnated. Armed with a lifetime of knowledge, he quickly develops into a child prodigy. However, his unique production magic manifests as something his aristocratic, mage-focused family despises. His disappointed father banishes him to a struggling, backwater town. Yet, Van sees immense potential in this seemingly desolate place. Can our optimistic hero build a thriving life with his talent for creating fortifications, proving its worth far beyond traditional battle magic?
