Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has good news for students: the registration deadline for the December 2025 Term-End Examinations (TEE) has been extended! Students aiming to take the TEE for either Open and Distance Learning (ODL) or Online Programmes can now submit their applications without any late fees until October 26, 2025. This extends the previous deadline of October 20, 2025.
If you happen to miss this new deadline, don’t worry entirely. A late registration period will be available from October 27 to October 31, 2025, though it will incur a late fee of Rs. 1,100.
When applying, remember that an examination fee of Rs. 200 is required for each theory course.
The December 2025 Term-End Examinations, covering both ODL and Online Programmes, are scheduled to commence on December 1, 2025. These exams will be offered in both traditional Pen & Paper format and as Computer-Based Tests (CBT).
