Bollywood’s dancing queen, Malaika Arora, known for her iconic performances in songs like ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ and ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’, recently shared a candid insight into her relationship with her son, Arhaan Khan. Despite Arhaan inheriting his mother’s dancing genes and being a fabulous dancer himself, he isn’t afraid to offer his honest opinions on Malaika’s dance skills.
During the launch event for her song ‘Poison Baby’, Malaika affectionately spoke about her son, stating, “He’s fab when he dances. He’s superb. Thank God he’s got my dancing genes in him. He dances very well.” She further revealed that Arhaan’s favorite among her dance numbers is ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’, which famously featured Salman Khan.
Arhaan often learns new dance steps and then asks Malaika to join him. However, when they dance together, he doesn’t hold back his critiques. Malaika recounted with a laugh, “He’ll be like, ‘Come on, Mom, let’s do this together,’ and then he’ll make fun of me for the entire day. He’ll be like, ‘Please, you can’t dance like that.’”
Malaika also expressed her excitement about her latest track, ‘Poison Baby’, featured in the film ‘Thamma’. She described the experience as “electric” and highlighted how the choreography blends moves and expressions to create a performance that is “dangerous, beautiful, and untamed—all at the same time.” The song features Malaika alongside Rashmika Mandanna.
