Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has successfully finalized a crucial wage settlement agreement for the period 2024-2027 with the United Union of Hyundai Employees (UUHE), its officially recognized union.
This long-term wage agreement is set to take effect from April 1, 2024, and will remain in force until March 31, 2027, as stated by the company.
Under the new package, employees will receive a salary increase of ₹31,000 per month. This increment will be implemented over a three-year span, with the distribution structured as 55% in the first year, 25% in the second, and the final 20% in the third year.
In addition to these direct benefits, HMIL continues to uphold its commitment to employee welfare by offering top-tier health coverage and advanced wellness programs, leading the industry in this regard.

The United Union of Hyundai Employees (UUHE), established in 2011, functions as the officially recognized representative body for the workforce of Hyundai Motor India Limited. As of August 31, 2025, UUHE boasts a membership of 1,981 employees, representing an impressive 90% of the technician and workmen cadre. This robust membership highlights the union’s ongoing dedication to advocating for employee rights, welfare, and fostering positive engagement with management.
