Alaya F, who has been a prominent face in the Hindi film industry for five years, has garnered attention not only for her acting but also for her distinctive fashion sense. “Being a part of the film industry has made my fashion sense a lot more fun, but also a lot more personalized,” she shares. “When you’re in this industry, you get to collaborate with so many experienced individuals, which opens you up to a vast array of incredible looks and styles.” However, Alaya emphasizes the importance of staying true to oneself amidst the glamour and trends. “Amidst all that, it’s crucial to recognize what works for you and discover your personal taste,” she advises. “My style is always evolving and incredibly versatile. Some days I feel like dressing cute and feminine, while other days I prefer an edgier look.”
Reflecting on her fashion evolution, Alaya F highlights a significant takeaway: “It’s essential to understand what complements your body type. That’s how you truly uncover your personal style. Dressing in accordance with your body type has been the most significant lesson in my fashion journey, and it’s made my personal style so much more comfortable. It has also made my professional styling more exciting because I now know what works for my body, allowing me to take more fashion risks.”
As a member of the Gen-Z demographic, Alaya believes that global exposure has been a key differentiator for her generation. “With access to the internet and global trends at our fingertips, this generation has delved deeper into exploring and defining their unique styles,” she observes. “Everyone seems to have a strong sense of personal style, which is truly fascinating.”
Alaya also notes the growing inclusivity in fashion. “We are becoming more inclusive as a generation. Regardless of size, people are finding ways to dress well, and fashion is embracing greater inclusivity for individuals of all shapes and sizes.”
