Optimize Your Battlefield 6 PC Experience: The Ultimate Graphics Settings Guide

October 10, 2025

Reading Time: 7 min

The Battlefield series has always pushed the boundaries of visual fidelity, and Battlefield 6 continues this tradition. While generally well-optimized, its stunning graphics can be demanding on your PC, making it tricky to consistently hit high frame rates. To truly master the battlefield with a buttery-smooth experience, dialing in the perfect graphics settings is key.

That’s precisely what this guide is for! We’ll walk you through every single PC graphics option in Battlefield 6, advising you on the ideal configuration. Our goal isn’t just a great-looking game, but also exceptional performance, ensuring you maximize your PC’s capabilities and dominate the opposition with high FPS.

Best Graphics Settings in Battlefield 6

To begin optimizing your graphics, navigate to the main menu in Battlefield 6 and click the cog icon at the top of the screen. From there, select the “Graphics” section on the left-hand side.

This menu allows you to adjust general display options, such as your chosen resolution and which monitor Battlefield 6 appears on. These settings are often highly personal, but we’ve compiled a list of our recommended general graphics settings below:

General Graphics Settings

  • Graphics Quality: Custom
  • Brightness: 50-60
  • Sharpness: 75

Camera Settings

  • Field of View: 110-115
  • Vehicle 3rd Person Field of View: 83
  • Weapon Field of View: Wide
  • World Motion Blur: 0

  • Vignette: Off
  • Film Grain: Off

  • Fullscreen Mode: Borderless or Fullscreen

  • Refresh Rate: Maximum Hz of your monitor
  • Vertical Sync: Off

The graphics menu also includes sections for your HUD, which you can customize to your liking, though leaving them at default is often fine.

Next, scroll back up to the Graphics section and click “GRAPHICS” to dive into individual settings. This granular control lets you fine-tune Battlefield 6’s visual quality, balancing it against your PC’s performance. Below is a comprehensive list of these detailed settings and their optimal configurations:

Detailed Graphic Settings

  • Texture Quality: High
  • Texture Filtering: High
  • Mesh Quality: Low
  • Terrain Quality: Low
  • Undergrowth Quality: Low
  • Effects Quality: Low
  • Volumetric Quality: Low
  • Lighting Quality: Low
  • Local Light & Shadow Quality: Low
  • Sun Shadow Quality: Low
  • Shadow Filtering: PCF
  • Reflection Quality: Low
  • Screen Space Reflections: Off
  • Post Processing Quality: Low
  • Screen Space AO & GI: Off
  • High Fidelity Objects Amount: Medium

For maximum frames per second, setting everything to its lowest value is always an option. However, our suggested settings aim for a respectable frame rate while maintaining enough graphical fidelity to clearly distinguish objects and enemies.

Finally, exit the “GRAPHICS” settings and locate “ADVANCED” just below “Brightness” and “Sharpness.” Clicking this option opens a new menu where you can configure upscaling and other critical performance-related options. The optimal settings for this menu are:

Advanced Settings

  • Fixed Resolution Scale: 100
  • Frame Rate Limiter: On and set to your monitor’s maximum refresh rate (e.g., 160, 144, 240 Hz)
  • Nvidia Reflex Low Latency: Enabled or Enabled + Boost
    • Choose Enabled if your GPU is more powerful than your CPU.
    • Choose Enabled + Boost if your CPU is more powerful than your GPU.
  • Upscaling Technique: DLSS for Nvidia users / FSR for AMD users
  • Upscaling Quality: Select “Quality” for enhanced visuals, or “Performance”/”Ultra Performance” for the absolute highest FPS.
  • Nvidia Frame Generation: Off (this feature introduces noticeable input lag)
  • Future Frame Rendering: Off
  • Performance Overlay: Off

Your optimal upscaling method depends on your graphics card brand and whether you prefer to run Battlefield 6 at its native resolution. While Nvidia Frame Generation can boost frames on compatible RTX GPUs, the resulting input lag might not be worth it for competitive play. The choice ultimately rests with you.

With these settings, you’re now equipped to fine-tune every graphics option in Battlefield 6. If you’re looking for more customization, be sure to explore our guide on the best controller settings in Battlefield 6.
