The Oppo Find X9 series is set to launch in India next month, with the company finally confirming the debut of its highly anticipated flagship smartphones. This new lineup, featuring MediaTek’s cutting-edge Dimensity 9500 chipset, was announced at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025. The series will first be introduced in China on October 16 and will come pre-installed with ColorOS 16. The new series is expected to include the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, succeeding last year’s Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models.
Introducing the Oppo Find X9 Series in India
During IMC 2025, Oppo officially announced the Indian launch of the Find X9 series for next month. The company also highlighted its collaboration with MediaTek to integrate the powerful Dimensity 9500 chipset into the Find X9 lineup, marking it as the first smartphone series to feature MediaTek’s newest flagship System-on-Chip.
This advanced chipset boasts an Arm G1-Ultra GPU and a primary core clocked at an impressive 4.21GHz. It further incorporates three high-performance cores running at 3.50GHz and four efficiency cores at 2.70GHz. Oppo claims that this mobile platform delivers a significant performance boost, offering up to 32 percent better single-core and 17 percent improved multi-core performance compared to its predecessor.
The Dimensity 9500 is engineered to provide up to 33 percent better graphics performance and an impressive 42 percent improvement in power efficiency. Oppo emphasizes that the Find X9 series will further optimize these advantages with a bespoke cooling system, ensuring smooth, high-frame-rate gaming even during the most demanding graphic sessions.
The Oppo Find X9 series is slated for its China launch on October 16, with pre-orders already open. These devices are confirmed to offer substantial memory and storage options, including up to 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of onboard storage. The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will be available in stunning Chasing Red, elegant Velvet Titanium, and pristine Frosty White color variants. The standard Find X9 model will also have an exclusive Fog Black option.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the upcoming phones’ Hasselblad-tuned rear camera system. The Oppo Find X9 Pro is specifically teased to feature a powerful 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 70mm focal length. To enhance the photographic experience, a professional Hasselblad Photography Kit will be included with the Pro model.
The Oppo Find X9 series will run on ColorOS 16, based on the latest Android 16. The entire lineup will leverage Oppo’s proprietary Trinity Engine for optimized performance. Regarding battery life, the standard Find X9 will pack a robust 7,000mAh battery, while the Pro variant will come with an even larger 7,500mAh battery.
