Excitement is building as Vivo prepares to launch its flagship X300 series in China next week, featuring the highly anticipated Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro. The smartphone giant has already teased a wealth of impressive specifications, offering us a tantalizing glimpse before their official debut on October 13th. Adding to the buzz, both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro have now surfaced on Singapore’s IMDA certification database, strongly suggesting these devices will soon make their way to the global market, starting with Singapore. Users can expect these new smartphones to run on the recently unveiled OriginOS 6.
Vivo X300 and X300 Pro Poised for Singapore Launch
The upcoming Vivo X300 (model number V2515) and Vivo X300 Pro (model number V2514) have officially been listed on the IMDA certification database. Both models are confirmed to be 5G-enabled and will come equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity. These certifications are a strong indicator that the handsets are ready for their launch in Singapore, following their initial release in China.
Further underscoring their global aspirations, international variants of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro previously received certifications from Indonesia’s SDPPI and European EEC authorities, confirming their availability in Indonesia and various European countries. The X300 Pro model has even made an appearance on Geekbench, showcasing its performance capabilities.
Vivo has also confirmed that both the standard X300 and the X300 Pro will be powered by MediaTek’s cutting-edge Dimensity 9500 SoC. These devices will come pre-installed with the new Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and boast a remarkably slim profile, measuring just 7.95mm in thickness.
In a recent Weibo video, Vivo passionately demonstrated the impressive capabilities of the Vivo X300’s 200-megapixel main rear sensor. The footage highlighted its ability to capture intricate details in hair, skin, and various fine textures. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel HPB sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, an advanced APO telephoto lens, and an enhanced Zeiss Natural Portrait mode for stunning photographic results.
The entire Vivo X300 series, including the Pro model, is set to impress with a “gimbal-grade” Sony LYT-828 primary camera. This will be complemented by a Zeiss 2.35x telephoto zoom, and an optional photography kit featuring a teleconverter, allowing for even greater versatility with the 200-megapixel telephoto periscope camera.
