The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has opened applications for its Officer Grade A roles. The 110 available positions are distributed as follows:
- General: 56 posts
- Legal: 20 posts
- Information Technology: 22 posts
- Research: 4 posts
- Official Language: 3 posts

Age Limit
Applicants must be 30 years old or younger as of September 30, 2025. This means candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995. Age relaxations will be applied as per prevailing government rules.
Selection Process
The selection process will involve three key phases. Phase I will consist of an online examination with two papers. Candidates who successfully clear Phase I will proceed to Phase II, which also comprises online examinations with two papers. Finally, candidates shortlisted after Phase II will be invited for a personal interview.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹1000/- plus 18% GST for candidates in the Unreserved, OBC, and EWSs categories. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the fee is ₹100/- plus 18% GST. Payments must be made online. For further details, candidates should refer to the official SEBI website.
