The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is gearing up for an early 2026 debut, poised to succeed the current Galaxy S25 Ultra. Recent computer-aided design (CAD) renders have given us a glimpse into its potential new look, and now, crucial specifications have also emerged. The upcoming flagship is rumored to bring significant advancements over its predecessor, particularly in thermal management and data transfer speeds. Additionally, earlier reports hinted at an innovative “Privacy Display” feature. The device is widely expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon processor.

Anticipated Specifications and Features of the Galaxy S26 Ultra

Tech enthusiast Anthony (@TheGalox_) recently shared a range of rumored specifications for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, projected to be the South Korean tech giant’s flagship for 2026. According to the leak, the device will likely incorporate a larger vapor chamber to significantly improve thermal management. Furthermore, it’s expected to come with up to 16GB of RAM, potentially boosting data transfer speeds by an impressive 25 percent.

The display is rumored to be a stunning 6.9-inch M14 QHD+ CoE Dynamic AMOLED panel, featuring an exciting new privacy screen function. This “Private Display” or “Privacy Display” feature was reportedly found in the One UI 8.5 code, hinting at advanced screen privacy capabilities for the S26 Ultra.

Adding to the visual excitement, tipster PhoneArt (@UniverseIce) recently shared an image showcasing what appears to be the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra in three distinct color options. Among these is a fresh orange hue, which bears a striking resemblance to the Cosmic Orange found on the iPhone 17 Pro.

As a successor to this year’s Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, the new phone might be offered in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB internal storage options. Camera enthusiasts will be thrilled by the rumored quad-camera system: a formidable 200-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.4 aperture, a 50-megapixel periscope lens offering 5x zoom with an f/2.9 aperture, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to house a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, promising top-tier performance. Powering the device will be a robust 5,000mAh battery, supporting 60W wired fast charging for quick power-ups. The phone’s sleek profile is expected to be around 7.9mm thick. It’s worth noting that regional variations might see some models equipped with an Exynos 2600 SoC.
