EA and Battlefield Studios have released exciting new details about the PC version of Battlefield 6, officially confirming the game’s PC requirements for its upcoming launch. These details were shared on the developer’s official blog.
“Battlefield 6 aims to deliver the ultimate PC gaming experience in franchise history, boasting the most extensive array of features and customization options ever,” stated the developer.

Regarding anti-cheat measures on PC, EA has confirmed that Battlefield 6 will implement the Javelin anti-cheat system. “Our anti-cheat system incorporates unique modifications specifically designed to counter cheats and hacks prevalent in the FPS genre. Javelin has been meticulously developed from the ground up by a team of experienced engineers and analysts, dedicated to understanding and addressing cheating challenges across all EA titles,” the developer elaborated.
Battlefield 6 will also fully support ultrawide monitors on PC, including 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios. Players can look forward to over 600 customization options, such as HDR and HUD scaling. Additionally, PC gamers will benefit from advanced upscaling technologies like frame generation, anti-aliasing, and latency reduction.
Battlefield Studios reiterated that Battlefield 6 will receive extensive post-launch support, bringing new modes, maps, weapons, and other features. This ongoing support explains the ‘at launch’ disclaimer on the game’s storage space requirements.
“Our comprehensive PC specifications list is not exhaustive; we recognize the vast number of graphics cards and processor combinations available. With this in mind, these specifications are designed to illustrate the minimum viable configurations for seven distinct in-game graphic presets,” Battlefield Studios explained.
The developer further advised: “We highly recommend utilizing your GPU manufacturer’s optimization software to tailor settings to your specific PC build, or adjusting the in-game settings to achieve your personal best experience. Unless otherwise communicated through official Battlefield channels, such as our verified social media accounts, we also recommend installing the latest drivers before launching the game.”
