The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is announcing a final call for applications for its Assistant Professor recruitment drive. Today, October 6, 2025, marks the last day to submit your application for the 1,253 available positions across government degree colleges in Uttar Pradesh. For those who have already applied but need to make corrections or resolve payment issues, the window for these actions will remain open until October 13, 2025. To be considered for these roles, candidates must meet the age criteria, being at least 21 years old and not exceeding 40 years of age as of July 1, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Application Fee Details:
- Unreserved/EWS/OBC Candidates: ₹125 (₹100 examination fee + ₹25 online processing fee)
- SC/ST Candidates: ₹65 (₹40 examination fee + ₹25 online processing fee)
- Persons with Disabilities (PwDs): ₹25 (₹0 examination fee + ₹25 online processing fee)
Selection Process:
The selection process will involve a Preliminary Examination, designed to test a broad range of knowledge with 120 objective-type questions carrying a total of 150 marks. Candidates who successfully clear the preliminary stage will be invited to participate in the Mains Examination, followed by an interview. The final selection will be based on the combined performance in the Mains exam and the interview.
