Aneet Padda, the rising star of ‘Saiyaara’, recently shared an unforgettable fangirl experience with Alia Bhatt. In an interview with Cosmopolitan India, Padda recalled how Bhatt, one of her idols, spoke enthusiastically about ‘Saiyaara’ for nearly ten minutes over the phone. Bhatt had previously praised the film and its cast on social media, but this personal call held special significance for Padda. “I would talk to myself in the bathroom mirror (when I was young) and practise all of Bhatt’s monologues, thinking, ‘How can I do it?’ and then, ‘How can I do it my way?’” Padda shared, highlighting her long-standing admiration for Bhatt’s acting prowess. Bhatt’s social media post about the film lauded Ahaan Panday and Padda’s performances, calling them ‘beautiful, magical STARS’ and expressing her awe at their talent. She also commended director Mohit Suri for ‘Saiyaara’, describing it as a film full of heart and soul that evokes powerful emotions. ‘Saiyaara’, a romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, tells the story of a musician and a poet. While Padda had prior acting experience, ‘Saiyaara’ marked Ahaan Panday’s Bollywood debut. The film’s emotional narrative and the actors’ performances resonated strongly with audiences, making it a commercial success.
