Get ready, Battlefield fans! EA and Battlefield Studios have officially announced that the highly anticipated first season for Battlefield 6 will kick off on October 28. This update brings a wealth of free new content, including exciting maps, powerful weapons, and fresh game modes to keep the action intense.
Season 1 will unfold in three distinct phases:
October 28: Rogue Ops
The inaugural phase, “Rogue Ops,” introduces the brand-new Blackwell Fields map. Players can also jump into the exhilarating Strikepoint mode and command the innovative Traverser Mark 2 vehicle. A significant arsenal expansion is also on its way, featuring the SOR-300SC carbine, the GGH-22 sidearm, and the Mini Scout sniper rifle, complemented by new Rail Cover and LPVO attachments.
November 18: California Resistance
The second phase, “California Resistance,” expands the battlefield with the new Eastwood map and a thrilling limited-time mode called Sabotage. Players will also discover “Battle Pickups,” a new gameplay feature, alongside new weaponry such as the DB-12 shotgun and the M357 Trait sidearm. The Troy Angled attachment will also be available.
December 9: Winter Offensive
Closing out the season, “Winter Offensive” promises a spectacular limited-time event map: Ice Lock Empire State. This unique map transforms the iconic Empire State building into a frozen battleground. The event will also feature the Ice Climbing Axe melee weapon.
