If you haven’t applied yet, you now have until October 31, 2025, at 11:00 PM to submit your online application. This extension is a welcome relief, providing extra time to ensure your registration is complete. Originally, the deadline was set for October 21, 2025, with a correction window from October 29 to 31. This recruitment drive aims to fill a significant 7,565 Constable (Executive) positions, comprising 5,069 for male candidates and 2,496 for female candidates. Mark your calendars: the Computer Based Test (CBT) is tentatively scheduled for December 2025 or January 2026.

Your Path to Becoming a Delhi Police Constable: Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The journey to joining the Delhi Police involves a comprehensive four-stage selection process, designed to assess various skills and capabilities:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
  4. Medical Examination

The Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, with each correct answer fetching 1 mark. It’s crucial to note that there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response.

  • For Female Candidates: The requirements include a 1600-meter race to be finished in 8 minutes, a 10-foot long jump, and a 3-foot high jump.

Boost Your Score: Extra Marks for NCC Certificate Holders

Candidates who possess National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificates can benefit from additional marks, which will be awarded as follows:

The application fee for this recruitment is set at Rs 100. Payments can be conveniently made through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or using Debit/Credit Card.

Successful candidates will enjoy a competitive salary package under Pay Level-3, ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.
