The highly anticipated iQOO 15, iQOO’s upcoming flagship smartphone, is gearing up for its Indian debut on November 26th. While we’re still waiting for official details on its Indian pricing and full specifications, early teasers suggest it will pack the formidable 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a dedicated Q3 gaming chip, mirroring its recently launched Chinese counterpart. A dedicated Amazon microsite initially hinted at a silver color option for India, but it has since been updated to confirm that a darker, black variant will also be available.
iQOO 15 Confirmed for India with At Least Two Stunning Color Options
The iQOO 15 microsite on Amazon has been updated, exciting fans with the news that the device will be offered in at least two attractive colorways for the Indian market. Initially, only a sleek silver option was teased. However, iQOO has now officially confirmed the availability of a stylish black variant, giving prospective buyers more choice.
For context, the iQOO 15 debuted in China on October 20th, available in a broader palette of four color options: Legendary Edition (silver), Track Edition (black), Lingyun (grey), and Wilderness (green). The company, however, has not yet hinted at these additional shades for the Indian launch. In China, the base model, featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, launched at CNY 4,199 (approximately Rs. 52,000).
Nipun Marya, head of iQOO India, recently confirmed the phone’s November 26th launch date. The Indian version of the iQOO 15 is expected to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, coupled with high-speed LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Furthermore, it will retain the advanced Q3 Supercomputing gaming chip found in its Chinese sibling. Software-wise, the device will run on OriginOS 6, built upon the latest Android 16 operating system.
In terms of display, the Indian iQOO 15 will boast a stunning 2K resolution screen, offering an incredibly smooth refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Gamers will also appreciate its Ray Tracing support for enhanced visual realism. To keep things cool during intense use, the phone is teased to include an impressive 8,000 sq mm single-layer vapor chamber plate for efficient thermal management.
Anticipation is high that the Indian model will carry over most, if not all, specifications from its Chinese counterpart. The iQOO 15 recently launched in China features a vibrant 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED display. This screen delivers a sharp 2K (1,440×3,168 pixel) resolution, a rapid 130Hz screen sampling rate, and an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, showcasing over 1.07 billion colors with a pixel density of 508ppi. Under the hood, it’s powered by the cutting-edge 3nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, complemented by an Adreno 840 GPU.
For photography enthusiasts, the Chinese iQOO 15 features an impressive triple-rear camera system. This setup includes a high-resolution 50-megapixel primary sensor, a versatile 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and a wide-angle 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. For stunning selfies and video calls, there’s a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Powering all these features is a substantial 7,000mAh battery, supported by ultra-fast 100W wired and 40W wireless charging capabilities.
