Tragic Telangana Road Accident: 19 Lives Lost in Horrific Lorry-Bus Collision
A horrific collision involving a lorry and a bus in Chevella mandal, Rangareddy district, on Monday, November 3, 2025, has tragically resulted in the deaths of 19 individuals. The victims include 13 women, five men, and a two-month-old infant, according to official reports from the Telangana Health Minister’s office.
In addition to the fatalities, 19 other individuals sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical attention. Fourteen of the injured are being treated at Patnam Mahindra Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences, three at the Chevella Community Health Centre (CHC), and two at Lalitha Hospital, Chevella. Authorities have stated that 18 of the injured are in stable condition, while one patient with a head injury is also considered out of danger, despite ongoing treatment.
As of early afternoon, the identities of 14 deceased persons have been confirmed. Efforts are actively underway to identify the remaining five victims. Cyberabad Police reported that the bodies of nine individuals have already been released to their grieving families.
