Samsung’s next-generation A-series smartphone, the Galaxy A57, appears to be nearing its official debut. While Samsung has yet to make an announcement, a model number associated with the device has been discovered on the company’s internal test servers, strongly suggesting its imminent arrival. The Galaxy A57 is rumored to be powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset. Complete specifications remain under wraps, but it’s expected to bring several enhancements over its predecessor, the Galaxy A56, which boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, the Exynos 1580 chipset, and a 50-megapixel main camera.
Galaxy A57 Spotted with Model Number A576B
According to tech tipster Akhilesh Kumar, the Samsung Galaxy A57 has been identified on Samsung’s test server database with the model number A576B. The ‘A’ prefix typically signifies its place within the popular Galaxy A series, while the ‘B’ suffix often denotes an international variant of the device.
Reports indicate that the Galaxy A57 is currently undergoing testing with internal firmware builds including A576BXXU0AYJ7, A576BOXM0AYJ7, and A576BXXU0AYJ7. The presence of these active firmware builds suggests that a public launch could be just around the corner.
Further reinforcing these claims, the Galaxy A57 had previously appeared on the IMEI database under the model number SM-A576B/DS. The ‘DS’ suffix typically indicates that the upcoming phone will offer dual SIM connectivity, a common feature in many markets.
Previous leaks have consistently pointed to the Galaxy A57 running on the Exynos 1680 SoC. Industry speculation suggests that the device could be unveiled as early as March 2026.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 is expected to arrive as the successor to the Galaxy A56. Its predecessor launched in India in March at a price of Rs. 41,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The Galaxy A56 currently runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 and is guaranteed to receive six years of OS and security updates.
