Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address public rallies and participate in a roadshow in Bihar on Sunday. The Prime Minister will hold rallies in Ara and Nawada, and will also lead a major roadshow in Patna. The upcoming elections for the 243-member Bihar Assembly are slated to take place in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with the first phase covering 121 assembly segments.
This will be Prime Minister Modi’s third roadshow in Patna since the Lok Sabha polls last year. Earlier this year, he conducted a roadshow shortly after ‘Operation Sindoor’. Elaborate security measures are in place for the PM’s roadshow. Before the roadshow commences, PM Modi is expected to pay floral tributes to the esteemed poet Rashtra Kavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar in the state capital. The roadshow is planned to start from Dinkar Golambar in the evening, proceed through Thakurbari Road and Bakarganj, and conclude at Udyog Bhawan near Gandhi Maidan. Later in the evening, the Prime Minister will offer prayers at the Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib Gurudwara.
In parallel, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, are also scheduled to address multiple public rallies across the poll-bound state on Sunday. These rallies are in support of their respective NDA and INDIA bloc candidates. Rahul Gandhi is slated to speak at rallies in Begusarai and Khagaria, while Amit Shah will address gatherings in Muzaffarpur and Vaishali.
