Nandyal police recently carried out extensive ‘cordon and search’ operations across the Nandyal and Atmakur sub-divisions. These proactive initiatives resulted in the seizure of a significant number of vehicles – specifically, 13 motorcycles and one car – all lacking proper and valid documentation.
These focused operations took place in key areas including Dev Nagar (under Nandyal III Town police station), Vengalreddy Nagar and Kudukunda villages (under Atmakur town police station), and Shantakota village (under Brahmankotkur police limits). The primary goal of these searches was to uphold law and order, enhance community safety, and actively prevent various criminal activities within these local communities.
During these operations, officers also investigated the residences of individuals with suspicious backgrounds and those known to have a criminal history. This led to the additional recovery of undocumented two-wheelers and a car, further reinforcing the police’s commitment to curbing illegal activities and ensuring public security.
