The company has been gradually teasing various aspects of the phone’s design and expected specifications. Most notably, the Noida-based tech firm recently confirmed that the Lava Agni 4 will feature a premium aluminum frame, a significant upgrade from its predecessor’s plastic build. Additionally, the new handset is confirmed to include a dual rear camera system and a distinctive new button on its right side, which bears a striking resemblance to Apple’s camera control button.
Lava Agni 4 Design and Anticipated Specifications
In a recent announcement on social media, the Indian smartphone manufacturer proudly revealed that the upcoming Lava Agni 4 will boast an aluminum frame. The shared images provide a clear look at the device’s design, showcasing a volume controller and a power/lock button on the right side. Intriguingly, there’s also a new, additional button located on the bottom right of the aluminum frame, which many speculate could serve as a dedicated capture button for the camera, similar to Apple’s implementation.
Apart from the visible elements, Lava has also confirmed that the Agni 4 will be equipped with a dual rear camera setup, complemented by a dual LED flash unit. Furthermore, the company previously announced that the Agni 4 will feature a curved AMOLED display and promise a “Zero Bloatware” user experience. A valuable perk for prospective owners, Lava Mobiles will also offer a Free Home Replacement service for the Agni 4.
Recent reports have shed more light on the potential internal specifications of the Lava Agni 4. It is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with UFS 4.0 onboard storage. The device might also house a substantial 7,000mAh battery. The display is expected to be a 6.78-inch full HD+ panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. As for pricing, the Lava Agni 4 is anticipated to be around Rs. 25,000 in India.
For comparison, its predecessor, the Lava Agni 3, came with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chip, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Agni 3 featured a 6.78-inch display with a resolution of 1,200×2,652 pixels and was powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging capabilities.
