JEE Main 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a crucial clarification regarding the use of calculators in the upcoming Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026.
In an official public notice released on November 2, 2025, the NTA confirmed that despite an initial mention in the Information Bulletin about an on-screen standard calculator being available during the Computer-Based Test (CBT), this feature will not apply to JEE (Main). The agency clarified that the reference to a calculator was a typographical error, carried over from a generic test conducting platform template. Therefore, the use of any form of calculator, virtual or physical, is strictly prohibited in JEE (Main).
