Infinix Note Edge 5G Debuts in India: Curved AMOLED, Huge Battery & XOS 16

The Infinix Note Edge 5G has officially arrived in India, just a month after its global launch. This latest mid-range smartphone from Infinix, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, is making waves as the first device to introduce XOS 16, Infinix’s new operating system built on Android 16. Users can look forward to a stunning 1.5K 120Hz curved AMOLED display, smooth performance powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, and a robust 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging capabilities.

Pricing and Availability in India

The Infinix Note Edge 5G is competitively priced in India, starting at Rs. 21,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. For those needing more power and space, there are also 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants available at Rs. 23,999 and Rs. 25,999, respectively.

Starting February 25, customers can purchase the smartphone in striking Lunar Titanium, Stellar Blue, and Silk Green colors through major online retailers and Infinix’s official Indian online store.

Launch promotions include instant bank discounts of up to Rs. 2,000 for SBI and ICICI bank cardholders. Additionally, buyers will benefit from a one-time screen replacement offer within six months of purchase and an extended one-year warranty.

Key Features and Specifications

The Infinix Note Edge 5G operates on the new Android 16-based XOS 16, offering dual-SIM (nano + nano) support. Infinix pledges three years of operating system upgrades and five years of essential security updates. Its visual prowess comes from a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1208×2644 pixels) LTPS 3D curved AMOLED display, featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a responsive 240Hz touch sampling rate, and an incredible peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. This stunning screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Under the hood, the device is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, paired with a Mali-G610 GPU for graphics. It offers flexible memory configurations with up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual rear camera setup, featuring a high-resolution 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a dual flash system. For crisp selfies and video calls, there’s a 13-megapixel front camera. Connectivity is comprehensive, including dual Nano-SIM support, access to both 5G and advanced 5.5G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and a versatile USB Type-C port which also supports OTG. An FM radio is also included.

Built for durability, the Infinix Note Edge 5G boasts an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. It’s a sleek device, measuring 163.1 x 77.4 x 7.2mm and weighing approximately 190g. Powering the device is its substantial 6,500mAh battery, complemented by 45W wired fast charging and convenient 10W reverse wired charging capabilities.
