The moment many aspiring Chartered Accountants have been waiting for has arrived! The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the results for the CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation examinations held in September 2025. This year’s results showcase exceptional talent, with Mukund Agiwal, Neha Khanwani, and L Rajalakshmi emerging as the national toppers across the three categories.
CA Final Success Stories
In the highly competitive CA Final examination, 81,852 candidates took the exams across 458 centers. The pass percentages were recorded at 24.66% for Group I, 25.26% for Group II, and 16.23% for both groups combined. The toppers in the Final examination are:
- Mukund Agiwal (Dhamnod) – Achieved an outstanding 500 marks, securing 83.33%.
- Tejas Mundada (Hyderabad) – Scored 492 marks, achieving 82.00%.
- Bakul Gupta (Alwar) – Secured 489 marks, with a pass percentage of 81.50%.
CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President of ICAI, extended his congratulations to all successful candidates, emphasizing that their achievements are a testament to their unwavering hard work, dedication, and the support of their families and mentors. He encouraged the new Chartered Accountants to uphold their knowledge, integrity, and values to contribute to the nation’s progress.
CA Intermediate Achievements
The CA Intermediate examination saw 1,59,779 candidates appearing across 548 centers. The pass percentages were 9.43% for Group I, 27.14% for Group II, and 10.06% for candidates who took both groups. The top performers in the Intermediate level include:
- Neha Khanwani (Jaipur) – Topped with 505 marks out of 600, achieving an impressive 84.17%.
- Kriti Sharma (Ahmedabad) – Scored 503 marks, or 83.83%.
- Akshat Birendra Nautiyal (Mumbai) – Secured 500 marks, with a pass percentage of 83.33%.
CA Foundation Excellence
At the Foundation level, 98,827 candidates sat for the exams in 544 centers. The overall pass percentage stood at 14.78%, with male candidates achieving 15.74% and female candidates 13.76%.
The leading candidates in the Foundation examination are:
- L. Rajalakshmi (Chennai) – Achieved a remarkable 360 marks, or 90%.
- Prem Agarwal (Surat) – Scored 354 marks, achieving 88.50%.
- Neel Rajesh Shah (Mumbai) – Secured 353 marks, with a pass percentage of 88.25%.
