A disturbing incident has come to light from Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh, where the body of a 15-year-old girl, who had been missing for two days, was discovered on Monday. Preliminary reports indicate that the victim suffered severe brutality, with her body showing signs of extreme torture and extensive bruising. The discovery was made near the victim’s residence.
According to initial reports, the girl’s throat was slit, and her arms and legs were found broken. In a particularly gruesome detail, it is alleged that her killers stuffed sand and glue into her nose. These findings have sent shockwaves through the community.
Adding to the horror, the victim’s family has come forward with allegations that the perpetrators sexually assaulted her before inflicting the fatal injuries and abandoning her body. The family had filed a missing person report on Sunday, initiating a search that tragically ended with the discovery of her body.
Authorities have registered a case against three individuals in connection with the crime, and one suspect has reportedly been apprehended. The Circle Officer of Mihipurwa in Bahraich, Harshita Tiwari, confirmed the registration of the case.
While the post-mortem examination is underway to ascertain the exact cause and details of death, early reports suggest the victim endured unimaginable torture. The grim findings underscore the ongoing concerns regarding violence against women in Uttar Pradesh. This case follows recent incidents, including an alleged gang rape and abduction reported last month in the same region.
