If you’ve applied for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 and need to make any amendments to your application form, now is the time to do it. Fees for Application Corrections
It’s important to note that making corrections to your application might incur a prescribed fee. Here’s a breakdown of the charges for various types of modifications:
- Name Change: ₹500
- Date of Birth Change: ₹500
- Exam City Choice Change: ₹500
- Existing Paper Change: ₹500
- Gender Change (to Female): ₹500
- Gender Change (Female to Other): ₹500 (for SC/ST & PwD candidates), ₹1500 (for all other candidates)
- Category Change (to SC/ST): ₹500
- Category Change (SC/ST to Other): ₹500 (for SC/ST & PwD candidates), ₹1500 (for all other candidates)
- Non-PwD/Dyslexic to PwD/Dyslexic Change: ₹500
- Any other category change: ₹500
Please note: There are no charges for changes related to Parents’/Guardian’s details, Correspondence Address, College name and location, Roll No., or Qualifying degree details.
To proceed with making corrections, candidates will need to log in using their Enrolment Number and Password.

The registration for GATE 2026 was concluded by IIT Guwahati on October 13, 2025. The GATE 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2025. The results are expected to be announced on March 19, 2025.
