A devastating road accident unfolded in Jaipur’s Harmada area on Monday afternoon, November 3, 2025, claiming the lives of at least 12 people and injuring many others. The tragedy occurred when a speeding dumper truck collided with multiple vehicles.
According to Jaipur District Collector Jitendra Soni, the dumper initiated a chain collision near Loha Mandi, striking several vehicles over a stretch of approximately 300 meters. A dozen individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, with an equal number sustaining injuries. Several of the injured are in critical condition and have been urgently transferred to the trauma center at SMS Hospital for specialized care.
Authorities reported that the dumper truck was empty and was traveling from Road No. 14 towards the Loha Mandi petrol pump when the catastrophic sequence of events began. Emergency police teams swiftly responded to the scene, working to divert traffic and clear the damaged vehicles from the busy highway. Ambulances transported the injured to nearby medical facilities.
This incident marks the second significant road accident in Rajasthan within a very short span. Just the day before, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, a separate horrific crash in the Phalodi area saw a tempo traveler ram into a parked trailer truck. That tragedy resulted in 15 fatalities, including 10 women and four children, with two others injured. These consecutive events highlight a pressing concern for road safety in the state.
