With 10,000 personnel on standby to address damaged electricity infrastructure, CM Naidu assured that normalcy would be restored by Wednesday afternoon. He emphasized the need for continued government efforts over the next two days to provide relief and expedite the return to normalcy.

Following the directives of the Chief Minister, ministers and officials were instructed to visit the affected areas, assess the problems faced by the residents, and distribute essential supplies. A key directive also included estimating the damage across various government departments to facilitate the submission of reports to the Union government.

Chief Minister Naidu conducted an aerial survey of the cyclone-affected regions, including Bapatla, Palnadu, Krishna, Konaseema, and Eluru districts. He is scheduled to inspect flooded fields in Allavaram mandal as part of his tour.

The collective efforts of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), police, and fire departments were lauded for their swift actions in clearing fallen trees and restoring snapped electric lines, demonstrating commendable dedication during the crisis.

Cyclone Montha, which originated in the Bay of Bengal, has now weakened into a deep depression over coastal Andhra Pradesh and neighboring Telangana. The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange warning for several districts in these regions, forecasting heavy rainfall.
