Indian telecom giant Bharti Airtel has announced a spectacular financial performance for its second quarter, ending September 30, 2025, revealing a consolidated net profit that has more than doubled to a remarkable ₹8,651 crore. This impressive figure represents a substantial increase from the ₹4,153.4 crore profit reported during the same period last year, underscoring the company’s robust growth trajectory and operational efficiency.
Fueling this surge in profitability was a strong 25.7% rise in revenue from operations, which reached ₹52,145 crore, up from ₹41,473.3 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. Specifically, Bharti Airtel’s revenue from its India operations grew by 22.6% year-on-year, hitting ₹38,690 crore.
A crucial metric for gauging the health of a telecom operator, the Mobile Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) in India, demonstrated healthy growth. Bharti Airtel’s ARPU increased by approximately 10% to ₹256 for the quarter, compared to ₹233 recorded in the same period last year. This rise signifies the company’s success in enhancing value from its mobile subscriber base.
