Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, has garnered significant attention following his directorial debut with the series ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood.’ Those involved in the project have spoken highly of him. In a recent podcast with Hindi Rush, choreographer Mudassar Khan, who contributed to the songs in the series, recounted a memorable interaction between Aryan and Shah Rukh Khan. Mudassar was particularly struck by how Aryan addressed his father as “Sir” instead of “Dad” on set, a moment that left him astonished.
Mudassar Khan Recounts Aryan Khan Addressing Shah Rukh Khan as ‘Sir’ on Set
Mudassar Khan reminisced about an interaction between Aryan and Shah Rukh Khan during the production of ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood.’ He explained the workflow, mentioning that he had prepared a reference video for a song. He and Aryan then presented this video to Shah Rukh Khan in his vanity van. Mudassar found the experience to be a valuable learning opportunity. Shah Rukh Khan was on a phone call when they entered his vanity van. Aryan patiently waited for his father to finish before approaching him. Aryan then respectfully addressed him as ‘Sir’ and inquired, ‘Sir, we have made something for the song — would you like to see it?’ Shah Rukh Khan readily agreed, and they presented their work.
Mudassar further shared, “After watching, he said, ‘Very good,’ and before leaving, he placed his hand on my head. We had also prepared another pre-visualization video to assist with the on-set shooting. As he was departing, I asked Aryan if we should show him the other video. Aryan then asked him, ‘Sir, if you have time, can we show you one more video?’ I was stunned by this because if I were in his position, I would have simply said, ‘Daddy, see what I’ve done!’”
